This mural is dedicated to the homeless. It was commissioned by someone pro-bono who was at the time homeless and sleeping in their car. They had also ended a long term relationship. The temporary public installation lasted about half a year and due to the natural cycling of rain and sun degraded.
Bronze Wolf Sculpture & 2 Hood Ornaments:
Never having been there when commissioned, it was quite the challenge to paint someone’s favorite place on earth. The buildings from this view looked like a pile of cardboard boxes.
The initial impression is very vapid and illustrative in its execution. When looked at closely more natural gestural techniques appear to have been used.
